In the Valley of the Dragons
Author Talk - Nancy DonovanChildren's author Nancy Donovan will be speaking at the library on Thursday, February 27th at 6:30 PM courtesy of the Friends of the Lane Library.  Nancy's books use magical and fairy tale themes to educate and entertain children and adults, and to raise consciousness of environmental concerns. In the Valley of the Dragons introduces the reader to Lauren, a little girl who meets a dragon and travels to a magical land to learn how to care for the earth  Additional information.

Read to FeedBeginning on February 1st and running through March 31st, the Lane Memorial Library in cooperation with local business sponsors will be offering our patrons the opportunity to contribute a $5 gift to the St. Vincent de Paul Community Kitchen by reading 4 books. Details.

Join the Friends of the Lane Memorial Library How can you help our Friends of the Lane Memorial Library? Reserve Museum Passes Online
Museum Pass Reservations Thanks to funding by the Friends of the Lane Memorial Library , patrons may now reserve our Museum Passes online up to a week in advance.  Reduced-admission or free passes are available to any Hampton resident with a library card.  See our list of Museums with hours of operation and driving directions.
